A short promotional animation created for the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation to introduce the“Aisthiseis” (Senses) multi-sensory cultural programme. Produced by one and a half animation studio in Cyprus, the film was developed as a concise visual introduction to the initiative and its core message of accessibility within cultural spaces.
Designed as a fifteen-second promotional piece for digital platforms and institutional communication, the animation presents a simple and approachable visual sequence that reflects the programme’s inclusive philosophy. Through minimal graphic storytelling, the film introduces the idea that cultural experiences can be shaped to welcome a broader range of audiences.

“Aisthiseis” (Senses) is a cultural accessibility initiative developed by the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation with the aim of expanding participation in museum and cultural experiences.
The programme introduces a series of initiatives designed to make cultural engagement more inclusive, including guided tours in sign language, multi-sensory museum visits, educational workshops, art-therapy activities and outreach programmes such as a travelling museum suitcase. These actions align with the Bank of Cyprus ESG principles and the H2020 ReInherit programme, which promotes socially engaged museum practices.
Through these initiatives, the programme encourages cultural institutions to consider accessibility not as an addition, but as a fundamental component of how museums engage with their audiences.
The animation uses a minimal graphic language built around simple stick-figure characters moving through a stylised museum environment.
The figures represent visitors of different ages and abilities, including wheelchair users, elderly visitors and families interacting with artefacts and artworks within the exhibition space.
The restrained design keeps the idea of accessibility clear and universally readable.
Animation can help museums, exhibitions and cultural organisations introduce programmes, initiatives and visitor experiences through clear visual storytelling. Short animated pieces are particularly effective for presenting ideas across digital platforms, institutional communication and exhibition contexts.
Through research, direction and careful visual development, animation can be shaped to reflect the tone, purpose and audience of each project, helping institutions communicate their work in a clear and engaging way.
This project forms part of the studio’s broader body of work in documentary, cultural and public communication contexts. Explore more projects on our Work page.
